Joseph C. Stanaland was the son of Daniel Edwin Stanaland and Kate Katherine Tharp Stanaland. He was born July 16, 1917 and died October 23, 2001. Joseph married Mary Case May 11, 1941. Mary was the daughter of Homer Manfred Case and Mollie Ann Edge Case. She was born July 5, 1919 and died January 24, 2005. Both Joseph and Mary are buried in the Stanaland-Frink Cemetery, Sunset Beach, Brunswick County, NC.
